Heartfelt Foods uses nothing but meat in our treats because we believe that dogs were not meant to digest grains, wheat flour, crude protein, or some of the other fillers that you'll find in many pet products. These products have ingredients in them which can, over time, contribute to skin conditions and allergic reactions in your pet. Besides, dogs didn't evolve with sharp teeth so they could eat wheat-flour biscuits!

Heartfelt Foods gets its local free-range grassfed beef locally from Humboldt Grassfed Beef in Fortuna, CA. All of their cattle are born and raised here in Humboldt and spend their entire lives roaming free without ever having any hormones, antibiotics or steroids. Our dog treats are so good that there's really no reason you shouldn't try them. Seriously, they're good enough that you can eat them and your dogs will absolutely go nuts for them! Each one ounce packet contains approximateley 1/4 pound of beef before cooking!
